The 13th edition of the Naples Workshop on Bioactive Peptides will be held in Napoli (Italy) at the Centro Congressi Federico II on June 7-10, 2012. The Workshop, designed to provide updated information and to critically discuss current trends on synthetic and conformational aspects of bioactive peptides, will deal in the 13th edition with the general topic: “Conformation and Activity in Peptides: Relationships and Interactions”.
The workshop starts in the afternoon on Thursday June, 7th with a Plenary Lecture and a Welcome party. From Friday June 8th to Sunday June 10th are scheduled 7 sessions, with plenary lectures, key notes and oral presentations; and two poster sessions. The Murray Goodman young investigators' session is scheduled in the afternoon of Friday June 8th.
Main topics are:
- The structure of peptides and their interaction with biomolecules
- Peptide drug design
- Peptide for diagnostic and therapeutic applications
- Peptides in nanotechnology and nanomedicine
- Synthesis of peptides, proteins and related analogs
Contributions concerning experimental and theoretical aspects in these topics are encouraged.
