Aflatoxin M1 is mutagenic, tetratogenic and causes immunosuppression in animals. As Aflatoxin B1 Aflatoxin M1 is a potent hepatotoxic and hepatocarcinogenic mycotoxin. Found in milk of cows fed on meal contaminated with Aflatoxin B1.
