This resin can be used for the synthesis of peptide thioesters. After removal of Trt by TFA/DCM the first protected amino acid is loaded with standard protocol, followed by complete peptide synthesis. After completion the peptide thioester resin is treated with HF resulting in the deprotected peptide thioester, which can be used for chemical ligation strategies.
