The proximity of two methyl groups just next to the disulfide moiety provides higher stability and lower cleavage rates compared to unsubstituted analogues. This linker displays higher lysosomal stability than the corresponding (non-methylated) linker Fmoc-SS-Linker (product code RL-2200).
