Z-Phe-Arg-AMC is a fluorogenic substrate for various serine proteases like cathepsins, kallikrein and plasmin. Substrate of papain, cruzain and trypsin. Absorption/emission of substrate = 330/390 nm (weak fluorescence). Absorption/emission of end product (AMC) = 342/441 nm (strong fluorescence).
