Purchasing

The key task of the purchasing department is the constant coordination, management, and cultivation of reliable supplier contacts. Apart from that, the team aligns the ordering process to react to changes in the markets, guarantee optimized warehouse stocks, and fast delivery of highest quality products. In addition, our purchasing takes care of requesting quotations, ordering products, monitoring of on schedule deliveries, and the coordination of deliveries from our logistic partners towards Iris Biotech in accordance with custom authorities.

In preparation for the quality control, the purchasing department reports about upcoming deliveries to assure fast processing within Iris Biotech and rapid distribution to our customers. To clearly manage all of our approximately 7,000 products, the purchasing department also creates and administers products in our internal booking system.
