Important tasks are amongst others the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and further QM-documents, the handling of complaints, the precise definition of specifications and quality agreements with customers and suppliers, as well as the control of incoming goods and products.

Background
Dr. Klaus Helm joined Iris Biotech in 2015 as Quality Manager. He heads the quality department, consisting of QA and QC. Additionally, he is responsible for hazardous substances management, safety data sheets and solving all kinds of chemical or technical challenges, according to the motto “Ask a chemist – they always have solutions”. Mr. Helm studied chemistry and obtained his doctorate in pharmaceutical chemistry at the University of Regensburg. Furthermore, he completed the Quality Expert GxP Program of the German Chemical Society (GDCh), Hazardous Substance Manager and various further educations in the field of regulation of chemicals.

Elisa HübnerQuality Control
Background
Elisa Hübner joined Iris Biotech GmbH in January 2023 to support the QA Manager and the QC. Processing of quality documents and complaints, preparation of safety data sheets, documentation of incoming goods inspection, support in chemical and technical issues and collaboration in hazardous materials and safety management are among her responsibilities. As a trained MTLA who worked as a lateral entrant in pharmaceutical chemical research in Erlangen, she brings with her expertise in pharmaceutical chemistry and peptide synthesis.
