We carry out custom synthesis of complex organic molecules in the domain of our expertise. Non-GMP production from mg to multiple kg can be developed and transferred into GMP environment on demand. Our clients’ typical requirements range from simple one-step reactions to complex multi-step synthesis, with quantities form a few mg, only, to several kg. With qualified contract manufacturing companies we have agreements to transfer the technologies, which we developed and scale them up to any commercial quantity.

We conceive the following technology platforms:

1. Single Molecule Platforms:


  • Prolines with residues at different positions of the pyrrolidine ring provide additional cross-linking possibilities and can specifically induce cis- or trans- conformation of the corresponding amide bond.
  • Maillard Reaction Products (MRC)
  • We design and develop customized and Specific Linkers for conjugation of biomolecules (protein, enzymes, antibodies), like in antibody-drug conjugates.
  • Usually for research institutes we synthesize 3rd generation Click-Linkers carrying functional groups like cyclooctynes, trans-cyclooctenes, tetrazines, or dienophiles on PEGs, polyamines or short peptides.
  • Spermines, spermidines and other Polyamines carrying different and orthogonal protecting groups.

2. The Polymer Program:


  • (Custom) synthesis of Poly(ethylene glycol)s (PEGs) require specific know-how. We provide (non-GMP) custom synthesis of PEGs in gram scale to multi-kg according to cGMP.
  • Poly(amino acids) like homopolymers of Arginine, Glutamic acid, Ornithine, and Sarcosine, are modern drug carrier systems providing the advantages of polymer therapeutics also to small drug molecules.
  • Poly(2-oxazolines) – 2nd generation polymer carriers - offer very broad variation of size, architecture, and chemical functionality.

3. Real Projects:

It can happen that we cannot commit to the success of a synthesis, however, we have ideas, how to reach the target molecule. We then carry out research and develop a practical route for production of a specific compound. For such kind of tasks we offer fee-for-service and can provide Full Time Equivalent (FTE) manpower to push your idea to success.
