Monodisperse PEG spacer with a free carboxylic acid and an Mtt protected amine. The Mtt group can be removed under mild conditions by using 1% TFA in DCM or with DCM/HFIP/TFE/TES (6.5:2:1:0.5). Furthermore, Mtt is stable towards Pd(0), hydrazine, and piperidine.
