PAM Resins

The 4-hydroxymethyl-phenylacetamidomethyl functionalized polystyrene resin (PAM resin) can be used for solid phase synthesis of peptides utilizing the Boc strategy. PAM resins provide better stabilities than traditional chloromethyl polystyrene (Merrifield resin), however, the finished peptides are harder to cleave. As typical cleavage conditions require strong acids such as HF, PAM resin has found limited use in solid phase peptide synthesis. Besides the below listed preloaded PAM resins, we can supply substituted PAM resins with any available amino acid.
